In 2015, an incident triggered my PTSD from domestic abuse and anxiety, sending me into a depressive episode. My 15-year-old was placed in foster care for truancy. I hit rock bottom. Things were the worst they had ever been and I wanted to die. My sister Marilyn SAVED MY LIFE. She supported me and helped me, never judged me, and always loved the very flawed me for who I am. She helped me find the light in the darkness.
