When I think back to that day, I never expected to be here, 20 years later, finally opening scary, dust covered, painful boxes in my mind. Your love, support and encouragement has been the reminder that every day is another chance to let go of the negative and remind myself of who I am. I have the strength of not 1 but 2 Military Veterans coursing in my veins. I have the character to love freely, dream openly and fight for those weaker than I. Thank you for being my parents even when I gave you nothing but trouble. I love you both so very much!
