You were a teacher at my school. You also happened to be my neighbor. 1 day, my senior year, after school I decided to walk home instead of take the bus. That day I had finally had enough. My plan was to step out in to traffic & just hope for that to be the end of it all. Each intersection I came to was one more realization that I hadn't done it yet. Then I came to 1 intersection & you pulled up in front of me & stopped, offering me a ride the rest of the way home. I accepted. You were just being your kind self, but you saved me that day!
