I know you will never see this. 3 short months is all of your time I had before you were sent away for what will be a 3 year tour but even in leaving you never abandoned me. I probably wouldn't have made it home from Cali and Target would just be some metal at a junkyard but you were there. You made me promise to come home to you in one piece. Told me if I couldn't promise you that you would come chase after me and have my truck towed home. I knew if I wanted you'd never catch up or find me but knowing you were willing to do that made me not.
